Hastak Chair

The Hastak Chair draws its name from Hastakala — the art of the hand — and represents the intimate dialogue between the maker and the material. Rooted in the design language of Kinoku’s turned-wood typology, the chair balances craft, comfort, and structural clarity.

Every element of Hastak is shaped with intention: the gentle curves, the turned legs, the woven cane backrest, and the seamless transitions between components. Each detail carries the rhythm of handcraft — the patience of turning, the warmth of natural wood, and the quiet presence of human touch.

Designed for hospitality settings, the ergonomics are carefully developed to support long, relaxed conversations — whether over breakfast, a lingering lunch, or an unhurried dinner. Its stance is engineered to remain steady through everyday use, movement, and draggings, ensuring durability without compromising grace.

A subtle functional detail completes the design — a small, thoughtful resting point for your bag, keeping it safe and close by your side.

A piece shaped slowly, sincerely, and made to feel at home in any refined space.

  • Sculpted from solid wood, the seat and backrest flow in gentle curves — shaped by precision, perfected by comfort. Technology carves, but it’s the form that invites you to sit, pause, and feel at ease.
